Out and about the city on Sunday. I like unusual details. I have no problem with this blue whatsoever, but I just sometimes wonder how they came to pick a color like that, like what it means to them... I also think about "Beware of Dog", "We Call Police", and "No Trespassing" signs..how the person came to the conclusion that (enough was enough? and) they needed to get one of those signs..or were they already at the hardware store and thought maybe they could use one..and there was a point where you would have seen them put the sign on the fence or in the window and there that sing will stay for years and years to come until it fades to a peachy pink.

those bricks on the second house are kind of nuts! are they, um, faux?
ReplyDeletekatie: i think it's a kind of siding that was popular back in the 70's, you see the 'thin brick' on a lot of chicago homes, especially in the outer / collar communities.
