Ok I think I made a poll that should show up on the side bar to your left.. for some reason it is not showing up for me...just the poll title and for some reason another flickr badge underneath that??? Here's hoping it works for you..

Just wondering how you feel about white after Labor Day! I don't know if it's just the idea of a rule, but that saying has always bothered me. Still, I can't seem to get myself to wear white until December, when the browns and oranges that my white garments seem to clash so horribly with, can instead mesh pleasantly with my snowy surroundings. Cremes of course are a different story because they work with Autumn colors. But what about white with grey? Can't that work for fall? Maybe what it all comes down to is you just can't wear a stark white after Labor Day. And who really does? Yes? No? Answer the poll! haha

  1. heck NO I'm not giving up white after labor day--here in Tucson it's still over 100F most days! And white jeans are like blue jeans or black jeans....always go with everything, never out of season. (just harder to keep clean-looking)

  3. frankly, i don't care what other people do, but it does feel funny to me to wear stark white after it gets chilly. i LOVE winter whites though.

  4. I didn't think about this, but I did it, I wore a white hoody the day after labor day. Not cream - blindingly white. I think it's one of those old fashioned rules anyhow. PS. Happy to have found the blog of another vintage lover turned aspiring entreprenure! Do craft sales go well for you? Our market (winnipeg canada) is looking for mini wooden bridges, wishing wells, and things made of cotton balls and popsicle sticks so my craft sale adventures were mild at best. I've hunkered down and set up shop. Let them come to me (fingers crossed!). Good luck to you!!!
