floral bag

oh hi

i've had this purse since i was little

I've had this purse since I was small. Last summer I started using it again and will this year as well!  It was the first purse I bought on my own with birthday money that I saved..probably 3rd grade. It's small and easy to throw on which can be nice in the warmer months. It reminds me of a pair of floral jeans that I had when I was around the same age, maybe a bit younger. I loved them soooo much. I am pretty sure my mom saved them. I'll have to see.. Is it odd that I really want a pair now? A nice washed pastel floral, please.
Any items in your wardrobe that you've had for many years?

p.s. In the first photo you can see that I put up one of my Mod Cabin Crest Clocks..the wall color doesn't appear so bad in this light..it's definitely the best when the daylight comes in. I also changed the curtains to a pattern that has a base similar to the wall but is brightened by high contrast flower bouquets.

  1. That's so amazing! Even little you had fantastic taste.

I don't think I have a single item of clothing around from when I was a kid. I don't even have things I wore in high school! Come to think of it, my mom might have my black velvet & lace dress from my 8th grade grad dance... but it would never fit.

  2. that purse is so cute! my first purse at age8 was not cool at all. it was black denim with a kirby puckett patch on it (baseball player). i didn't even like baseball..somehow i thought it was "me". HA

  3. anabela- we really like to save things in my family, haha. those floral jeans were so well loved that they had to stay as a memento. your black velvet and lace dress sounds really lovely??

sarah- haha that sounds so cute though. do you remember dairy queen baseball cap dishes? i loved those more than baseball.

  4. hey tara-lynn! thank you for stopping by!

  5. awwww, you are too cute my dear :) love the little purse >.<
