The very sweet Annie of Imogene (was able to meet her in Sept. at Renegade) tagged me a few days back to share 5 random things about myself! Here goes nothin'..
1. I don't know if I've ever talk about this yet.. My nickname is Cake. My brother is 3 years younger than I am, and when we were both little he couldn't quite say my full name so he turned Caitlin into Cake and it stuck. Every now and then people call me by it, mostly my Mom's side of the family..though it mostly appears when friends and family address letters and things.
2. In the winter I have been known to take a hair dryer to my bed sheets. In recent years I've expanded and will often blow a bit of warmth into my clothing before I put it on. What? I HATE being cold!
3. I drive a Hyundai Elantra hatchback. I really like it but when it's cold it makes this horrible screeching noise when I start it up and make my first couple turns. It's very embarrassing.
4. I have been up since 4am!
5. I dream of one day having a nice house with an open floor plan and white floors and spots of color and tons of natural light.

ReplyDeleteThat is my dream house as well. It doesn't even have to be a house actually, an apartment will do. I just love open layouts with an overabundance of natural light and white floors.
